Yakama Girl's Dress / 1890

A two-piece dress constructed from native-tanned hide and decorated with sinew-sewn seed beads. The yellow-ochred yoke exhibits lanes of pink and blue emitting from the center. The collar and shoulders feature translucent orange beads. Short fringe suspends from the side seams, with ubiquitous long fringe boasting large blue beads.
