Warms Springs (probably Wasco) Flat Bag / 1870

A bag constructed from native-tanned buffalo hide, and decorated on the obverse side with sinew-sewn seed beads comprising various geometric motifs using yellow/dark blue/sky blue/red/green/orange on a white field. Elongated hourglass motifs trisect the bag, separated by columns of blue ending in diamonds. Short fringe hoists from the base.
