Ute Tail Bag / 1880

A pouch constructed from native-tanned buffalo hide and decorated on the obverse side with cobalt-colored seed beads on a white field. Stacked diamonds flank a central elongated triangle on a white field, with inward-facing triangles on the edge seam. A hide thong hoists behind the flap.
