Ute Moccasins / 1860

A pair of thick hard-soled moccasins decorated with sinew-sewn seed beads. The vamp contains lanes of blue, green, red, white, and corn beads with abstracted triangles. Stiff buffalo hide and commercially tanned leather form the cuffs.
