Southern Arapaho Moccasins and Leggings / 1880

A pair of ochre-dyed leggings that are paired with a matched set of moccasins. The flap is decorated using silver conchos between lanes of white, red white "heart", blue, and yellow seed beads. The base features a white field, whereby a central column stems upward. The moccasins are decorated in a similar collar palette with sinew-sewn buffalo rawhide soles.
