Sioux Top Hat / 1880

A beaver felt hat adorned with a band of native-tanned hide comprising quillwork featuring stepped pyramids of purple, orange, and blue on a red field. A rosette with quilled suspensions and brass beads sits on one side. The perimeter of the band is beaded using green seed beads. 

6” tall, 11” long and 6” wide
