Sioux Pictorial Bag / 1890

A bag constructed from native-tanned hide and decorated on the obverse side. A central horse sits below a cross consisting of blue, black, and red "white heart" seed beads. The edge seam is similarly decorated. The reverse comprises a star and crescent using blue, white, green, and red seed beads. A hide thong secures the opening.
