Sioux Moccasins / 1890

A pair of hard-soled moccasins decorated with sinew-sewn seed beads. The vamp consists of delineated buffalo tracks of green encircled by maroon on a sky blue field. Stepped triangles of blue, green, and corn colored beads border the edge. Lanes of blue trim the cuffs, joined by a split tongue in a classic scatter bead motif. Accompanied by a wall mount.
