Plateau Model Cradle / 1885

A model cradle constructed from native-tanned hide and backed with muslin. The halo features seed beads in the "salt and pepper" style above a teardrop motif with an abstracted flower, on a blue field. A doll sits under the canopy, adorned with red stroud, padre beads, and pony beads around the collar.
