Plains Shot Bag and Horn / 1860

A sinew and thread-sewn bag constructed of native-tanned buffalo hide. The obverse consists of dense buffalo hair and a sinew-sewn repair on the interior. The flap of the bag features a border of buffalo tracks orbiting a sun in red pigment. Accompanied by a powder horn whereby hide thongs feature immense blue and yellow padre beads. The bag hoists a commercial leather thong, adjoined by a metal buckle.
