Ojibwe Pipe Tomahawk / 1873 / Named

A tomahawk constructed of a hollowed scalloped haft. Overtopping the haft is a spontoon brass head with a congruent cut-out. Inscribed on one side is "Kitch-A-Anne-Wash" followed by the date 1873. "Kit" is also documented on the wood haft. Accompanied by a custom table mount.
