Northern Plains Shirt / Late 19th Century

A shirt constructed of native-tanned hide which has been decorated in sinew and thread-sewn seed beads. The color consists of a red trade cloth panel flanked by two strips of ermine. The beaded panels envelop a classic stepped motif in dark blue and yellow, sitting on a blue field. Accompanying the shirt is a custom wall mount.
