Kutchin Tunic / 1880

A man's tunic, constructed from native-tanned moose hide. The exterior is decorated in quilled fringe along the belt and shoulders. The seams consist of sinew-sewn sections, whereby red ochre trails cover the intersection. A hide belt secures the waist suspending a bone-handled blade. Accompanied by a custom wall mount.
