Kiowa Children's Moccasins / 1880

A pair of hard-soled moccasins constructed from native-tanned hide and stained on the obverse with yellow ochre. The vamps comprise seed beads forming an abstracted flower using yellow/blue/pink/green outlined in white. The perimeter is segmented using the same colors. Red and blue beads embellish the cuffs.
