Iroquois Doll / Late 19th Century

A highly decorated corn husk doll in the form of a female. The head features a penciled face with cloth hair and ear drops of translucent white seed beads. Her dress of calico is trimmed in red ribbon, over red and black stroud. The leggings are beaded using pony trader blue beads, accompanied by a pair of center-seam moccasins.
