Crow Parfleche Envelope / 1860

A small rawhide envelope constructed from buffalo, which is painted on the obverse with stacked diamonds of red and yellow. Green segments the center vases, along with the opening flap, which is scalloped-edged. A hide tie secures the front, containing various stores of seed beads.
