Crow Moccasins / 1860

A pair of hard-soled moccasins constructed from native-tanned buffalo hide. The vamps feature a "keyhole" motif with red stroud flanked by porcupine quills and blue seed beads, above quilled rosettes and short fringe terminated by tin cones. Short fringe stems from the heels. Restoration to the soles and fringe.
