Cree Moccasins / Late 19th Century

A pair of soft-soled moccasins decorated with sinew-sewn seed beads. The vamps consist of a white field whereby abstracted floral motifs flare from the midpoint. Leaves of blue, translucent red, and green flank the ankles, with mouths wrapped in red cloth. Accompanying the moccasins is a wall mount.
