Cheyenne Moccasins / 1880

A pair of moccasins constructed from brain-tanned buffalo hide and parfleche soles, fully decorated on the uppers with sinew-sewn seed beads. The vamps comprise a "buffalo track" motif with latticed squares of red and blue, bisected by a radiant star. The perimeter features stepped pyramids on the noses and stars in yellow and dark blue. Accompanying the moccasins is a wall mount.
