Apache Model Cradle / 1880

A cradle backed with cottonwood, wrapped in yellow-ochred native-tanned hide. The canopy features lanes of translucent green, yellow, blue, and black seed beads below tin cone suspensions, along with a zig-zag motif using green pigment. The body envelopes a rudimentary cloth doll, trimmed with dappled seed beads. Accompanying the cradle is a custom table mount.
