Woodlands Moccasins / Early 19th Century

A pair of pucker-toe moccasins constructed from a single piece of native-tanned deerskin; forming a seam at the center. The cuffs are decorated in black trade cloth with small white cylindrical beads and silk ribbon work along the outer edge.
